Care & Cleaning

The look of the bronze will change with time. Cleaning all surfaces with a mild soap, water, and a non-abrasive cloth will help the hardware age gracefully.

Water conditions vary across the country. Chemicals and minerals in the water and air can combine to have an adverse effect on the finish of plumbing fixtures. We recommend that you rinse away any traces of soap and gently dry with a clean, soft cloth after each use.

For any of our light or brushed finishes (white light, white brushed, bronze light, bronze brushed) you may use deoxidizing cleaner (such as Wright’s Copper Cream, or Bar Keeper’s Friend) to bring the bronze back to its base metal finish. Then apply a high-quality clear paste wax to protect the surface. This process can be repeated as necessary.

Do not allow materials such as toothpaste, nail polish remover, or caustic drain cleaners to remain on the surface.
